Applicants must accrue a minimum of 20 volunteer hours at St. Mary’s from April 1st until July 31st. Parents of the applicant must accrue 10 volunteer hours during that same period. The PSR program provides religious formation for students in Pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade who attend public school. Our goal is to instruct the children in our parish family as a community of believers in the Catholic faith. The instructions include faith-enriched experiences, such as liturgies, faith instructions, prayer and sacramental preparation. A Baptismal certificate is required in order to enter the program. Please arraign to speak to Deacon David Kushner, who runs our PSR program, by calling the rectory.
St. Mary's Slovenian Language School
We believe that in order to preserve the heritage and tradition of the Slovenian community, children from Kintergarten through eighth grade should take part in Slovenian language classes. St. Mary's offers our Slovenian Language School in the classroom facilities of the parish hall. Children learn to speak the language in a fun and engaging way. Please consider enrolling your child in this special program and contact the rectory for information about Saturday morning classes.
